Find a transaction
Look up any past sale by date, amount, or reference — and see exactly what happened.
Updated 21 August 2026
Every sale Swipee has ever recorded for your business is searchable, from the app and from the dashboard.
Search
- 1Open Transactions.
- 2Narrow the list by date range, store, payment method, or status.
- 3Or search directly by reference or amount.
The list is newest first, so today's sales need no searching at all.
What a transaction detail shows
- The reference — the unique identifier for the sale
- Date and time
- Amount, fee, and net amount
- Currency
- Payment method, and the card's last four digits for card sales
- Status
- The items sold, with quantities
- Any note you added
- The failure reason, if it failed
Reissue the receipt
Open the transaction and choose Receipt to print or send it again. See Issue, resend, and reprint receipts.
When a customer queries a charge
- 1Ask for the date and roughly the amount.
- 2Filter to that day and find the sale.
- 3Read them the reference and the item lines.
- 4Send the receipt to their phone or email while you are talking.
When your cash does not balance
Filter to cash sales for the day and compare the total against what is in the drawer. Then work through Review your inventory history for the same period — a mismatch is usually one sale rung up on the wrong method or the wrong item.
