Fees and pricing
One rate on digital payments, nothing on cash, and no monthly charge.
Updated 21 August 2026
Swipee charges you when you get paid, not before.
| What you take | Rate |
|---|---|
| Cash | Free |
| Card tap, insert, or swipe | 2.5% per successful transaction |
| Mobile money processed by Swipee | 2.5% per successful transaction |
| Recording a sale Swipee did not process | Free |
There is no monthly fee, no setup fee, no charge for the app, and no charge for the dashboard.
How the fee is applied
The fee comes off the sale, not out of a separate invoice. A $100 card sale at 2.5% credits your balance with $97.50, and the transaction shows all three numbers:
- Amount — $100.00
- Fee — $2.50
- Net — $97.50
What is never charged
- Failed transactions. If the payment does not succeed, there is no fee.
- Cash sales. Money you took in your hand is entirely yours.
- Recorded sales. If Swipee did not process the payment, Swipee does not charge for it.
Limits
A single sale is capped at US$10,000.
Your own costs still apply
Your mobile-money provider's charges, your bank's charges, and your data costs are separate and unaffected by Swipee.
