What costs nothing during the record-only pilot, and the proposed rate for future live digital payments.

Recording your shop in Swipee is free during the current pilot. No live payment rail is connected, so Swipee is not processing card or mobile-money payments and is not charging a payment fee today.

There is no monthly fee, no setup fee, no charge for the app, and no charge for the dashboard.
Proposed live-payment rate
The working proposal for a future payment Swipee actually processes is 2.5% per successful transaction. It is not active pricing. Merchants will be told the final rate and terms before any live rail is switched on.
If that proposal launches unchanged, the fee would come off the processed sale rather than a separate invoice. A $100 payment would show:
- Amount — $100.00
- Fee — $2.50
- Net — $97.50
What would not be charged
- Failed transactions. If the payment does not succeed, there is no fee.
- Cash sales. Money you took in your hand is entirely yours.
- Recorded sales. If Swipee did not process the payment, Swipee does not charge for it.
Limits
A single recorded sale is currently capped at US$10,000.
Your own costs still apply
Your mobile-money provider's charges, your bank's charges, and your data costs are separate and unaffected by Swipee.
